Key responsibilities:

• Identifying business opportunities via a range of activities including research, trend identification and tracking.
• Identification & justification of routes to market i.e. cold calling, mail shots, digital marketing routes, trade shows etc.
• Selling of services, products and booking of business development meetings by establishing contact with and nurturing relationships with prospective clients.
• To consistently help meet and exceed KPI expectations in terms of marketing, sales activities and income growth in line with company ethics.
• Contributing to the team effort by taking part in and accomplishing related tasks as required.
• Participate in monthly meetings when required to report on relevant matters to support growth, improvement and challenges.

Ideal person: As a minimum candidates must have Nebosh Fire Certificate with demonstrable CPD and experience of completing fire risk assessments. Nebosh General certificate would also be desirable. A keen interest in the delivery of exceptional customer service is an essential attribute in order to be successful in this role. • Have an ability to read, understand and interpret complex legislative documents and guidance documents such as British Standards etc.
• This is a full-time role which involves UK travel and potentially some overnight stops. Therefore, flexibility is an important factor. You will need to be able to drive, have a reliable vehicle and a full UK driving licence.
